I posted the other day when I was a good 30 hours into my fast.
I started this fast on Wednesday at 3:51 pm. I finished it on Saturday at 3:54 pm.
I am proud of myself for completing this fast. The longest I’ve ever done was about 36 hours back in early 2021. Now I’ve doubled that personal record.
It was tough on this last day. I didn’t necessarily have any cravings, but I did find myself contemplating my first meal when I still had a good 10 hours left.
I might attempt another 72-hour fast some other time. Maybe in a couple of months.
For now, I’m jumping back into 16-hour fasts.
You know I was just thinking of doing a longer fast and I like to workout but I was worried I might feel weak or unable to do my workouts. Did you have any feelings of physical weakness on your longer fast?
That’s awesome! Congrats on that! Today I did the longest I’ve ever done and it was just 30 hours (being honestly wasn’t hungry but I don’t want to do it that long since I’m trying more like in a progressive way), can’t even imagine 72 hours…
Congrats that’s awesome. I have two questions. Did you work out during the 72 hour fast? Did you have to ease into eating on hour 72.1? I did a 48 hour fast and had very little energy to work out. I was good the first 36 hours but work out twice a day weights in the am and cardio at night. I didn’t know if you had to eat something kind of bland at first or not. 48 hours I didn’t haha I ate normal
