Lately Iāve been overwhelmed. Thereās OMAD, Keto, Zero carb, 16:8, Snake juice fast and of course dry fast.
Iām currently 55 pounds overweight and have some health issues that I know dry fasting can help. Especially some skin issues.
I canāt stay home and do a dry fast. Have to go to work. Wish I can stay home and heal but I canāt.
I need all day energy and I drive a lot for work. So need quick thinking on the road.
Iām 30 and have had no surgeries in my life. Just overweight and have some health issues.
Goal is to heal and lose all the weight. Like Cole says ādick skin rippedā š
Iām open minded to any good advice.
Thanks
I slowly got into fasting over a year and a half, only trying dry fasting after probably 30 water fasts. Cut out all the sugar and refined carbohydrates, stop snacking, move down to eating twice a day (ideally within a 6 hour period), eat pasture raised eggs, lots of steamed veggies and youāll already be doing major favors for your body. That alone can get you to lose weight if you stick to it and give it at least a month before expecting changes.
Keto omad zero carb etc are diets. Fasting is nothing comes in for time being under. Of youāre new to this do as suggested go slow and take it from there. I started with 16:8 a couple of years ago and today Iām on my second 5 day rolling dry fast.
Like people have said, start with 16:8ā¦ for me that just means finishing dinner at 7pm and not eating til 11am.But within a few days youāll find it super easy to extend that to 18:6 and even 20:4.At that point, when youāre used to it, you donāt feel hungry or tiredā¦. And the weight falls off.
But losing 55lbs might take 5 monthsā¦ so mentally prepare yourself that this is a marathon, not a sprint. If you miss a day, just get straight back in the wagon.Eventually you might find that you donāt eat at all one day, and by the time youāre up the next morning, thatās a 36+ hour fast. A few of those are great for you too.
I can tell you that carnivore helped me to defeat a sugar addiction and sugar addiction while fasting does not work. I recommend something akin to a carnivore diet, and also switching to decaf coffee. Once the worst parts of your withdrawal are over, fasting should be easy.
16 8 I have lost tons of weight , unnecessary weight to the point where I was bones(please donāt be like me) I wasnt considered fat to begin with, but 16 8 is good bro, youāll definitely lose all the weight you want to thatās foshoš¤š½
