Answer

You don’t break fast that long with tomato soup and steamed veggies. Go lighter maybe a bone broth or a small peace of water melon. For the first day. The first meal should be small just to turn the system on back again.

Answer

Could be a lot of things. Ingredients of tomato soup? Dressing of a salad? Both could contain preservatives or some weird stuff

Your wet/dry fast makes it harder to see where you’re at. Day 8 could be a beginning of an increased acidity when you’re supposed to feel the worst and you broke a fast at the wrong time

Green tea has caffeine also

From personal experience, I’ve found that consuming vegetables after a fast that long is upsetting for the stomach. I broke my dry fast of 8 days with fruit and had no issue (didn’t been do a broth or anything). Your stomach is super sensitive when you come off a long fast, so you really want to make sure that what you consume is very light and watery

Answer

For fasts lasting less than 5 days that would have been fine. But for longer fast you have to break with something else. I prefer water with some salt in it or coconut water. Preferably break it before going to bed and then you could have had tomato soup and veggies. Your intestines and stomach were turned off and your intestines are not ready for food which is why you vomit.

What did you have in the lettuce salad? Corn, feta cheese, bread crumbs and sundried tomatoes can really mess you up after a longer fast.
