I have a 24 hour fast coming up pls help with what I should be eating and how much

So I regularly eat 2000 calories a day should I be eating more then that or the same amount? Also what food should I be trying to get in. Also I know water is super important around how many liters should I try and get it. On a normal day I try and get in 3 should I try and get in 4? Thx so much

I just did a 24 hour fast.

I made two mistakes which i hope not to repeat:-)

  1. At around 16 hours, I started to feel very hungry, u/mujer_solutions97 pointed out this will go after 20 hours which i found to be true..

  2. I ate (multiple) sweets before starting my fast. (I was a little stressed the night before) I could have gotten better results by probably reducing my sugars before starting.

  3. Water …… Around 2.5 L for a 70 kg person… I forget the calculation… Look up Andy Galpin for water consumption…

Ive run many casual 24 hour fasts. My only advice is to eat little carbs, drink lots of water, and eat around anywhere between 11am-3pm I find that this is the best sweet spot for me. As for how much you should eat, I mean you can eat very little to a bit more than a single meal, as long as it’s not two meals worth.
