So I just completed 14 day water fast, I broke my fast with the water of vegetables/chicken soup, a tiny chicken piece, parsley and a small mushroom piece. The burn was negligible when I was eating the soup, mushroom and parsley but started really burning as soon as I started chewing the chicken. 5 hours later I wanted to drink kefir and as soon as drank it the burning was really strong.
So guys my question is, does anyone know why is this happening and how can I avoid it. ( i tried looking in the internet but i didn’t find any useful information)
This seems to happen frequently, following fasts. I completed a five day water fast and after eating the roof of my mouth became sore. I’ve heard multiple reports of this but have never come across the science behind it.
