Always when i start a fast (two days long or more) it’s so hard to get past day one, but when i do, the other days are a lot easier. What is some advice i can use in this situation or what can keep my mind busy during this time? How do you handle it?

i have gained so many ways. im on day 3 of my current fast. heres some things i do.
- long hot baths / showers
- look at other’s before and after
- think about the health benefits and my health goals
- journal
- read
- listen to fasting podcasts
- watch fasting youtube videos
- hang a pair of pants youd love to feel and look good in
- make a vision board
- print off a calendar and use different colours for the days = each colour represents how you feel that day eg. blue= tired, green= okay, pink= great, orange= wavering, red= motivated.
- set the hours on a stop watch or clock (phone) so you can look at how far you’ve come. it will give you the courage to not give up, all those hungry hours will still be an accomplishment but will result in you beating yourself up.
- chat with others online who are fasting.
- ask question and find out some motivational reasons to continue. (mine is that i dont want my gut to make me feel sick anymore)
