I’ve been struggling with my fasts lately, but I keep reminding myself that if I want to optimize autophagy to tackle belly skin, I need a few more of these rolling 72s, and then I can enjoy the rewards with OMAD and increased strength training. Say your goal out loud if you’re wavering! You’ve got this. 👍🏻

I’m on a 48 hr fast right now. Hubby got hungry so we’re at a Mexican restaurant but I’m not even tempted. The benefits of fasting are worth the temporary annoyance of not eating. Stay strong and remember that you get to eat in a few days. You can wait.

I am one hour into my first fast over 48 hours. Going for 66 hours. Please keep us posted. I keep hitting a 48 hour wall that I can’t mentally break through yet but I’m determined to get there this time. Good luck!

I just finished one on Friday – it ended up being 89 hours. I started Monday afternoon on a whim as I was not hungry and had been planning to do a 72-96 hr fast once a month to try and work on my loose skin from weight loss. I stopped Friday as I had a lunch thing planned with an old friend. I was off on vacation all week and spend the week working on my back yard. It was all manual labour: lifting rocks, wheelbarrowing stone, digging, building raised garden beds. I had zero issues with energy or strength at all, in fact I feel like I had more. I got a bit fast-bored in the evenings but just powered through it … being too sore to get off my ass and get food helped

49 hours is nothing to be bummed about omg thats good!! Im currently doing a hopefully 21 day one but I’ve already had to restart twice. Longest I’ve ever done was 21. Did a 19 day one once and a bunch of 10 day, 1 week, and 3 day ones too but I always find if I can make it to the 3 day mark I want to go farther! So keep it up!!! (Unless you feel super unwell or something of course)
