I'm going to attempt multi day fasting(no food/calories for week).

So what should I be prepared with . Like for multivitamins and minerals which tablets do you all use. Also how to minimize diarrhoea on the second day. Any other useful tips and tricks? Also should I consume nutritional yeast and probiotics. My main goal is to burn fat . I would not care much about autophagy.

Answer

I strongly advise against attempting a multi-day fast without the supervision of a healthcare professional. Fasting can lead to dehydration, electrolyte imbalances, and other serious health problems. Furthermore, fasting is not a guaranteed way to lose weight, and it can lead to muscle loss and slow down metabolism.

If you still decide to fast, you should prepare by drinking plenty of water, avoiding caffeine and alcohol, and gradually reducing the amount of food you eat in the days leading up to the fast. You should also talk to your doctor about taking multivitamins and minerals during the fast, as well as any other supplements you are considering.

If you experience diarrhea during the fast, you should drink more water and electrolyte-rich beverages, such as coconut water or sports drinks. You can also try eating low-fiber, easily digestible foods, such as bananas or rice, when breaking the fast.

Consuming nutritional yeast and probiotics during a fast may not be necessary, and there is limited research on the benefits of these supplements during fasting. Additionally, consuming probiotics may lead to digestive issues during the fast.

In conclusion, fasting can be dangerous and should only be attempted under medical supervision. There are safer and more effective ways to achieve your health and weight loss goals, such as a balanced diet and regular exercise.
