I’ve always been a normal weight. I had 2 kids by 21 (2008), and was still very slim. Then, by 30 I had gained 25 lbs and hated it. At that same time, I got pregnant. I had 2 babies in 20 months (2019). I didn’t lose the weight so easily or quickly. Then covid happened. So now, January 2023, I’m 80 lbs over my ideal weight.
Since mid January, I decided to lose weight. I began water fasting 2-4 days/week and for the last 3 weeks, I’ve been in ketosis. To date, I’ve lost 28 lbs. I just dropped out of the obese category, and made it to overweight. That’s super motivating.
I’m not done. I still have ~50 lbs to go, but at this point, it’s not too hard. My appetite it pretty much gone, and I see a lot of progress.
I look forward to reaching my goal.
I am extremely interested in starting this and have a very similar story to yours as to how I got into this. Do you eat normally on the days you aren’t fasting? Are you exercising also?Congrats on your accomplishments that’s so huge and so encouraging to hear!
