Eat normally. Many find it easier to jump into a fast when their carb intake is low. Generally indulging ahead of time or over-eating is not advised. Use electrolytes, stay hydrated, find things to do during normal eating windows to stay distracted!

Just eat normally, you don’t want to eat more to prepare because then you’re counteracting the weight loss you would see. Unless you’re doing it for autophagy, in which case you’re gonna be fasting for multiple days. If you’re fasting multiple days it won’t matter as much how you eat but it still is counterproductive to overeat. In general your “eating normal” should mean you’ve been getting enough nutrients for a few weeks already
