So I want to point out that I am from India and the typical brands of electrolytes have dextrose or some other sugars and are not zero calorie. Also I request for some guidance if I need to take any supplements during the fast?
I don’t have any medical illness except the fact that I’m freaking fat (127kgs). I have fasted for 4-5 days a few times before and have lost a lot of fat. I am thinking of doing a longer fast ( starting with a 7 day fast). Please let me know if I should do anything except having water?
The brand that I’ve heard about (LMNT) is expensive here and i don’t think I have that on a regular basis during the fast.

There are 3 things you need:
For magnesium, for a 7-day fast you can go with capsules. Just get a magnesium supplement. Potassium supplementation can be difficult. You need large quantities, and at least the US has restrictions on max dosage. Many folks buy potassium salts (e.g., NoSalt, NuSalt); I had to go mail order for mine as the local grocer didn’t have them.
If you mix your own, it’s cheaper and there are no sugars.
