I need help making IF work

I (35F) have bad insomnia. I used to take medication, but it stopped working, so I just endure. I’ve tried IF twice now and I really like how I felt when I did IF. I have a significant amount of weight that I need to lose (CW ~270-274), but IF significantly worsened my insomnia. I was doing 16:8, 11-7, and I’d try to eat as close to 7 as possible. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions for making IF work for me without making me go out of my mind from exhaustion? You guys are really inspiring, so I’d appreciate any advice. Thanks!

Ok. Might sounds crazy, but it isn’t:

Eat at least one and a half pounds of meat every single day, break it up however you want. That is the minimum. If you want to eat other things besides that, go for it, as long as it isn’t garbage food and sugar and starch.

You will feel amazingly better and rapidly approach your optimal health and weight. Your hormonal issues (if you have them), your mood and sleep, your mental health, your overall sense of well-being - all of these things will improve beyond what you probably think should be possible the more meat you eat and the less of everything else you eat. It really is that simple.

Finally got my wife to try it in the beginning of June and she’s now urging all her gf’s to try it for themselves. It’ll change your life and you’ll be so happy you tried it

Allow yourself time to ease into it. I stay up 7-8 hours after my dinner but do not feel the hunger anymore. Do 12:12 then 14:10 and move towards 16:8. Try figuring out what suits you. I used to eat between 2 & 10 cause I knew I’d get hungry at night and used to wake up late so skipped breakfast. Gradually I started eating between 1/2pm & 7/8pm. Just don’t stop and keep going. Even if you are stuck in 14:10 schedule for a few weeks, keep at it. It gets easier, much easier.

I have horrible insomnia as well and used to abuse Xanax for sleep and now I’m off of it for about 2 years and honestly the best thing that’s worked for me has been this sleep mix from a company called Hydrant. It has gaba, chamomile, melatonin and L-Theanine. Individually any one of those never worked for me but all together in one sleep mix it works every time and for the first time I haven’t built any dependence on it. It’s great! That helps me with IF a lot
