I need some advice on results and patience

Hello everyone!

I’ve been using 16:8 (x3 a week) and 22:2 (x2 a week) with weekend breaks for the past month and a half and I’m starting to get a little worried of doing something wrong since I’ve seen little to no change when it comes to fatty tissue.

How long does it usually take for a person who’s fasting to start seeing visible changes? I’m already pretty slim (probably around 20% bf, my upper abs are visible) but I’ve decided to fast to get rid of my lower back and lower abdominal fat to get more “cut”.

I’ve also read this could be due to estradiol levels, but I’d like to make sure I’m fasting correctly before trying to find solutions to other potential issues.

\~4 months should produce a visible result in my experience.

However..

It is WAY harder to lose fat when there is not a lot of it. What you are doing seems more like a regime suited to MAINTAIN current levels.

There are several solutions for stepping it up. I am sure you will figure out some that work for you, sooner or later. Good luck!

It’s very common for people to blow a week’s deficit over the weekend. My advice is to find a schedule you can stick to all week.

16:8 is basically just skipping breakfast. What are your calories like when you eat? How does what you eat on the weekends differ from weekdays?
