Hi, I have been consistently resuming the diet for two weeks following the CiCo, at the moment I am doing the 16: 8 and I was able to be constant without too many problems. Last year with 16: 8 I had reached my ideal weight, this year for some strange reason one Sunday afternoon I fell into binge eating despite being in a light “bulk” phase and from that moment on I have not been able to recover, I had fallen into the vortex of binge eating and every weekend I ate a lot until I burst. Now after so many months I have managed to interrupt this cycle and it is already two weeks that I have resumed the consistency of last year. In recent months I have tried to implement the Omad, but when I arrived at the weekend I could not help myself, while with the 16: 8 I managed to survive, but with the Omad I was able to make a rich and very healthy meal, while currently I struggle and would like so much to be able to maintain the Omad and at the same time reach my goal, even if my fear is precisely to fall back into binge eating during the weekend. Could you give me any tips or advice on how you manage to survive? During the week with work I can easily distract myself, I am used to fasting and in the morning I am never hungry, while at the weekend I am always hungry all day and often even after the evening meal for some reason I find myself with an absurd hunger
Idle hands can to this. I know I always used to associate down time and food pretty closely…I suppose om some level I still do…much smaller scale I guess.
Consider doing omad during the week and not om the weekends. Perhaps tmad or 3…whatever works. Just be conscious that your portion habits have to adjust huge from during the week because you are conscious deciding to go with more of a grazing approach for a couple days.
If those couple days are going higher calories…inch back calories during the week.
If you want to go omad more consistently….… less idle hands time… shift your eating window a bit on weekends. Like if you normally eat at 10am..try 2pm om the weekend… a bit more protein or perhaps chia on weekends
Is how you eat during the weekend a lot different? By that…I mean types of food. This could potentially be a factor.
