I find myself randomly skipping dinner because I’m not that hungry. I used to be “hangry” all the time. I’m down close to 20 pounds over the past six months. Fasting is so much easier than CICO - once you get used to it. I had nearly given up on losing weight. I watched a Ted Talk where they said you just weigh more as you get older because your metabolism slows down. It was discouraging. When I cut calories, my metabolism would almost freeze. I’d gain back any weight I lost unless I kept myself on a very low cal diet. Now I’m calorie cycling and eating anything I want when I’m not fasting. No counting carbs. I eat dessert. It’s great!
I just finished week 3 of 3x42. I also noticed it has gotten easier to get through my witching hour (dinner time around 24hrs fasted). Makes me feel like I’m really getting the junk and cravings out of my system and confident heading into week 4 of 3x42.
