I want to do once a day, but what about the Vitamin D and sleep?

So I don’t know how to explain it but something just tells me that it’s best I take my vitamin D anywhere from 6-7am to maximum 2-3pm (and that’s pretty late IMO) but yeah..

Does that make sense? How can I eat once a day, but still not be hungry at night, and still take vitamin D at the right time?

Or maybe my logic is wrong? Sure I’ve read some things but I’m tired of just not posting, so I’m going to come right out and just ask etc.

Hoping someone here can give me that ah-hah moment or share your experiences. Thank you!

Answer

I don’t think there’s much evidence that it matters when you take vitamin D, other than that it’s best to take it with a meal containing fat. If you’re worried about sleep quality, why not try it and see?

(Oh, and I take it with dinner, but I have zero problems with sleep ever, and I also go to sleep 6-8 hours after dinner, so my experience may not be typical.)

Answer

I think it is recommended to take vitamin D earlier in the day, but taking it with fat is also important. I have no problem taking it at 4 p.m. My vitamin D levels are actually high and I don’t have trouble sleeping.
