The brand “Huel” originally was going to be called “Hibble”, as in “Human Kibble” because it would provide all the nutritional needs of a human, like Kibble allegedly does for animals.
They opted for “Huel” as in “Human Fuel” but the concept is the same.
AFAIK Huel is a rather decent meal replacement.
The problem with this is that your gut microbiome requires a diverse diet and many types of dietary fibres to ‘feed’ it. So while you can meet your own nutritional needs this way, you may create problems down the road because of changes to the gut microbiome. For reference, I’m a gut microbiome scientist and nutritionist.
