Last Tuesday after a very very stressful day I decided to eat 2 pounds of icecream after being 30+ days in ketosis. Since then I was only eating fat, the usual sausages, avocado, olives, but I can’t get back into ketosis ☹️ the pee sticks always show negative ☹️ usually it takes 2-3 days max and now it is even a week and I go to the gym everyday so there sugars should have been burned off long time ago ☹️
Don’t worry about it, just go back to your usual routine, keep in mind we weren’t designed to be in ketosis forever, just seasons/periods, to avoid this type of binges i recommend having a carb or two days a week (same calories) ; fruit and rice (japaneese if you can) , and plan your icecream day, it is not compulsive if it’s planned ;).
** mind the sticks, sometimes they expire way before planned.
3 fasting days should get you in ketosis.
