I’m a wimp and can’t drink salt water. I have sodium chloride tablets instead. They are 1 gram. In the wiki recommendations, it says 1-2g minimum of sodium should be consumed daily. Does that mean 1 tablet (1g) of sodium chloride? Or should I take 3-4 since it’s less mg of sodium?
How much salt you’ll need will depend on individual need and, more importantly, activity level. Drinking the recommended amount of snake juice made me nauseous. Being sedentary, I ended up at like .5 liters a day when 1.5 was recommended.
However, watch out for tablets of any kind. They usually have some kind of starch binder.
