IF and medication- is there any chance?

I’ve recently started taking medication morning and evening after food. Is there any way of fasting around that? I’ve tried taking the meds without eating and it makes me feel very nauseous. Thanks for any help

Answer

It depends on the medicine. Some are intended to be taken after meals. Please do not alter your medication regimen as a result of IF. IF is undeniably helpful; nonetheless, in such a situation, please see a physician.

Answer

I’m in the same boat. I can’t do IF due to medication that requires food. And I can’t just eat a little bit (few crackers or a little bit of veggies). If I don’t eat it with a full meal, I get sick as a dog and vomit it back up. Still, don’t let it discourage you from losing weight. Eat smart and exercise. I love seeing the progress folks make here, so even though I can’t participate, I love to silently support them and their hard work.
