If I'm adding a period of dry fasting to my weekly 5.5 days water fasts; at the start or the end?

I’m currently doing weekly 5.5 day water fasts, my eating window is 8am Sat to 8pm Sunday. I’ve done this for 12 weeks earlier in the year and it was great. This time I am about to complete week 6 and I am wondering from the start of next week (8pm Sunday) if I could add in a period of dry fasting.

I am thinking of starting with 24 hours of dry fasting first to get used to it. But was wondering if you recommend that I add the dry fasting at the start of the 5.5 days water fasting (8pm Sunday to 8pm Monday) or at the end (8am Friday to 8am Saturday).

If it goes well I will look at increasing the length of my dry fasting in the future. The length of the overall fast will remain the same at 5.5 days as this works well for my routine, I would just gradually replace parts of the water fasting with dry fasting to see if there are more benefits.

Answer

I started Sunday on a dry fast and broke it with Pellegrino water yesterday. That was a 64 hours and 22 minute of dry fast. I’m currently on water fast at the moment with no set goals to end it. May end it Thursday of next week. At the moment I feel very good and energetic. Interesting to see what other pay have to say.
