just asking. I heard goat is healthy but too much fat is not.
Who told you too much fat is not healthy? If you went from eating not much fat to 2/3 a cup of lard a day I would think your body would have to adjust, that means most likely be near a toilet as this would likely clean your bowels out.. as far as it having detrimental effects I would argue it’s better than loads of other things people Ingest.
That’s about 1200 calories per day and a bit over the recommendations for fat per day which would be about 30% . Though the average is in-between 20-40% of energy per day. Apart from some upset digestion as others have said, it’s unlikely the body is ready for such a load but people on keto might well eat that much a day or more after being acclimated. It’s likely that nothing particularly out of the ordinary will happen.
On a keto diet people will eat that or more with 70-80% fat being recommended. So if you are curious what might happen if you eat like that regularly then check out keto which is a popular diet that has medical reasons to be valid but also is popular for other reasons.
