Your body will “use” it as a low digestion speed high quality energy source even after all the muscle rebuilding work is done. It’s not like it gets wasted and pooped out. If you are eating a huge calorie bomb and a ton of fat with it and hoping the protein is a benefit, then no, not great, but the grams of protein don’t become “not food” once you saturate your actual hard protein needs.
The biggest problem you’re going to run into is kidney stones. High protein intake results in greater kidney stone production in as little as 6 weeks. A real life example would be Simone Biles the amazing gymnast that eats an athletic diet that has a large protein intake. She has had kidney stones before, and women typically don’t get kidney stones. Here’s a link for more information.

Not usually. It’s not a simple yes or no question; there are myriad factors involved in the answer. It’s also not completely settled science. But 60g would be above what some studies have shown can be absorbed in 1-2 hours.
