I’m a 210lbs 6ft male, what should my goal weight be?

I have no idea what my target weight is suppose to be. I want to get to weight that I can then start eating a lil above maintenance so I can put on some muscle. I’m tired of being a fatty so any advice would be great.

Answer

If youve never weight lifted, then 150 lbs should be good to aim for.

If youve lifted weights it could be anywhere from 175-200 lol. Really depends. Best thing you can do is keep dieting and look in the mirror. Once youre getting lean, youll know you only need to lose like 10-20 more lbs to see your abs (considering theyre developed enough).

Answer

That depends; how much muscle mass do you have?

The biggest factor in health is your waist to hip ratio. You want 0.95 or lower to be healthy.

The waist-hip ratio is calculated as waist measurement divided by hip measurement:

W ÷ H .

Answer

Depends on muscle, body fat %, and body type. Weight and height alone isn’t a good way to determine goal weight. A perfect example is when terry crews tweeted that he qualifies as obese according to government standards and we all know that’s absurd. That being said I would assume that the weight for an average 6 footer would be 170-180.
