I’m So Fucking Fat

I am a 5’10 Male who weighs around 230 pounds. I was doing good on the snake diet before lost about 30 pounds but I gained it all back on vacation. I came back like 2 weeks ago and I can’t finish one fucking fast. I’m 4 hours in to a 72 hopefully I can go longer. I’m done being a fatass!

First of all you are not fat. I get beating yourself up about gaining it back. I’m in the same boat. I was 10 pounds from my goal weight and gained the 25 pounds I lost back in the past 3 months after a cruise and binging over the holidays. It’s hard to get back into a good routine. Set goals that are realistic as you retrain your brain and body. You were successful. You are capable of being successful. You will be successful again.

I’m on way to a 96 hours fast by Jan 1. And as I see it my brother is eating like crazy around me, but I’m going pretty strong for 1 simple reason. You can have any food at any time you want. But it will be at expense of your health, and that is unfortunately a cost Iam not willing to pay. And the thing is once you overpower your first obstacle (maybe some food in the fridge looking extra delicious etc) the rest somehow becomes into a sort of snowball effect. Becomes easier as it goes.

Also an important thing is to make a plan for your day, because when the moment of weakness arrives and it will you’ll already have a plan.

I have huge list of things to study (not for academic reasons) and fasting somehow makes me pretty sharp so I listed everything I needed to study and the chores I have to do till Jan 1. Admittedly this is pretty extreme on my part but this is what works for me.
