Electrolytes and plenty of them are the recommendations here. I have two teaspoons of salt a day and supplement potassium and magnesium; It does help. However, the longer you fast, the more they will deplete and the worse you will feel.

I’ve tried rolling fasts where I’d have one meal and then restart, but that’s so hard on my body, even when I get in my electrolytes. Now I’m adding in more eating time so I’ll break in the evening, go to bed, eat the next day as well, and then start my next fast in the afternoon. This extra time seems to be making a difference for me, as fasting makes my stomach shrink so I can’t really get enough nutrition in one meal. I am kind of amazed at how easily I become full now, and eat a lot less.
