I’ve found it’s much easier to keep my eating within reason when I intentionally focus on volume eating, where you choose mid-low calorie food that’s nutritious and really filling. I typically open fasts with a huge salad and some protein. Of the two meals I eat after I break a fast I keep one carb-free and the other moderate carb. I still eat food I love, but it’s more moderate because my stomach is full.
