I know it’s expected to have more energy with IF (I had the same when I used to be keto), but does anyone else find they have a stupidly high level?
Like I’m getting so much done and then finding the next task to complete and then cleaning stuff, making stuff… I feel a little like I’ve just taken a load of speed like when I would do all-nighters at uni.
Is this normal?
This boost in energy is likely associated or caused by an increase in you body making ketones especially if you are experiencing very clear minded, laser like focus… this is your brain on it’s preferred fuel source. In conjunction of course with an up regulation of your overall metabolism due to not eating every other hour
I do have quite a bit more energy. I’ve only been doing IF for a little over a month, but I feel a tremendous difference already. I make it a point to get some kind of work out done and I don’t feel the need to take naps anymore. I’m not sure how much fat I’ve lost ( I never did take my measurements and I can’t go by the numbers on the scale, as part of my work outs involve some weight training), but I no longer feel like a busted can of biscuits. I’m hoping by summer to have lost 80 pounds.
