Just wondering if anyone combines the two methods?

If theres any reason I shouldn’t try to do both?

Also, is there a subreddit for the 5 / 2 diet?

Tbh it sounds like a sht routine to me.

5 2 makes it very hard to adapt to fasting making you dread those 2 chosen days of the week instead of developing daily fasting habits allowing your body to adapt so it doesn’t produce ghrelin hormone outside of you feeding window.

Also “be on Cal res 5-600 cals on the chosen days”. Picking days to Omad is one thing but this routine implies you try to spread out your 5-600 cals in the usual “normal” 3 meals a day. Fuck that. That’s basically classic “dieting” that no one wants to do.
