Intermittent fasting for anti-aging when on calorie excess diet?

Using IF 16:8 method because I found research articles talking about the benefits fasting has on anti-aging. However at the moment I am trying to build muscle mass so I’m in a calorie excess, and I heard that one of the requirements for the anti-aging process is calorie restriction (without malnutrition). For those using IF for it’s anti-aging benefits, what do you suggest I do? Have occasional 24hr/ 48hr fasts, or try changing to 20:4 or OMAD?

Side note: Also even without the anti-aging benefits, IF is still useful to me as its had benefits on my jogging, because at the end of my 16hrs I’m on an empty stomach but still full of energy.

So it was never a goal of mine, but I do get a lot of people thinking I’m way (like 10ish) years younger than I am. I was Dming with someone the other day and sent her a before & after pic and her first comment was how much younger I looked. Probably more to do with the weight loss than IF, but my skin is in great shape!

Nutrients are an important component of “anti aging”. Eat whole food, make sure you’re eating a wide variety of fresh foods each week, cut out alcohol, avoid processed foods, get enough sleep, manage stress, move your body daily and hydrate. This will support your body in doing what’s necessary to life a long and healthy life. Throw in a couple of longer fasts a year - 5 days seems to be what people recommend, and you’re going to get all the benefits.
