I work out at 6am however I eat between the hours of 12 and 7. Should I change my hours so I can have some protein right after my workout?
My opinion is that the most important thing is to have a plan that fits your life and you can be consistent with. If you are lifting and doing IF effectively and consistently you are already ahead. I personally think that when you get your protein during the day would be a lower priority. Having said that I lift during my eating window and take a protein powder immediately after lifting but that fits my cadence so why not. It seems to me that changing eating window might be disruptive to other things but that is your call. Good luck.
