I’m confused on this. Is it simple once your glycogen tank is past capacity (8000 calories i’ve heard) then it becomes fat? If not when you maintain say 4000, do you still put on body fat in other processes?

I like noodles but Idk if I could manage 700g a day LOL
Fat is already a fat molecule, so easier to store by the body. There’s less shifting the molecule around and breaking bonds between atoms and stuff. That’s a reason why proteins have the highest thermic effect is because your body uses energy to break them down and store. Most of the glycogen doesn’t become stored as fat, you use it and it is replaced by glycogen in your diet.
