I sort of accidentally did my longest fast over the weekend. I had been doing daily 24h fasts just habitually, and then I just sort of noticed that I felt great when that 24h mark rolled around. So, I was like… Why not keep going until my body tells me to stop, and see if I can make it to 48? I kept myself stocked up on electrolytes and made it through another night, no problem.
At the 42-hour mark, I took my electrolytes and they made me feel incredibly nauseous, so I caved and slammed a quick meal. Honestly, I never thought I’d be the kind of person who could last that long without even a snack, but I feel empowered. I’m going to try for another 48-hour fast next week and work my way up from there.
Trying for a 60 hr each week. Sunday dinner until Wed breakfast. I was doing 36 hrs fasts 3x a week before. Alternate day. Finding it harder this time. Not as motivated since all my health issues resolved. I want to lose more but the urgency is gone.
