It’s not too hard to wean yourself off sweetener in tea, especially if you steep it for the time recommended (3-5 mins usually). I started using half a packet, then started steeping properly, and now I don’t use any sweetener.
It honestly varies per person. If it doesn’t make your hunger cravings go through the rough than go for it. Just don’t overdue it just because it’s a zero calorie sweetener lol. I use the bag powdered sweetener in my warm tea that instantly dissolves, but a lot of it isn’t necessary (drinking raspberry tonight!) I flat out avoid diet sodas and zero calorie sports drinks. Every other day as a treat shouldn’t hurt though, but again it’s still soda anyway you look at it. Do what works best for YOU :)
