Answer

There is zero science behind it. It’s completely made up. I could come up with a diet like this and market it. I’m going to call it the bean diet and you are only allowed to eat beans. You better believe people will lose weight that way. And they will be more focused because they will be starving. That’s basically the carnivore diet. Eating 100% meat isn’t doing anyone any favors. You will be lacking balanced nutrition and needed vitamins and minerals. There is a reason why humans are omnivores. I’d recommend you read some of the Cleveland Clinics and Healthline articles on this topic.

Answer

It can provide health benefits if you have a sensitivity to unknown foods in your diet.

It can cause fat loss if you are in a caloric deficit just like any other diet. Caveat being that it is easier for some people to eat in a caloric deficit eating nothing but meat.

People find that they have higher energy levels when they move to a more whole food diet (plants or animals is irrelevant)

It’s not magic and not ideal by any means.

Have you seen how lean and muscular carnivores like lions, cheetahs and wolves are compared to their vegan (cows) and omnivore (bear) counterparts? Obviously there is something to it. I suggest getting into hunting deer and small game using nothing but your teeth and you should be sure to eat the whole thing (incl organs, bone marrow, fur) raw because that’s the only way you gain the full micronutritional profile that the carnivores I listed above receive.
