Is consuming Apple Cider Vinegar breaks fast?

I take the Bragg brand Apple Cider Vinegar in liquid form which says it has only 1 calorie per tbsp.

I take it as a supplement form which isn’t really necessary for my diet.

Wondering if anybody else takes it.

I started taking acv about 2 weeks ago during my fast. At first, it tasted pretty horrible to me. But I thought it was worth it for its potential benefits. Then about 4 or 5 days later it started tasting not so bad. Then a few days after that it started to taste pretty good. That’s when I noticed that pretty soon (10 minutes or so) after I took it I would get really hungry. I think that it started causing an insulin spike in me once my brain liked the taste of it.From what I’ve read, if your brain perceives something as sweet, it can cause a rise in insulin and then you can feel hungry. But other people can consume the exact same thing and it will not raise insulin. So for me, I now wait until 10 minutes or so until I break my fast to drink acv. That way, I am eating after it makes me feel hungry.

Of course this is just my experience. Everyone is different.

I don’t feel like including ACV in my beverages when fasting, but some people do it.

As for general consumption of ACV, I’m in.I’m listening to Jason Fung and his theory of combining vinegar with carbs like potato and rice. When I can’t do it precisely because my potatoes are in soup or some casserole, I most definitely use ACV as a part of my salad dressing. I think it balances itself a bit.
