Answer

I wouldn’t say it’s exactly dangerous. But your stomach will be digesting food while you’re sleeping so it might affect sleep quality. Also it will increase the chances of acid reflux since you’ll be digesting while lying down.

Answer

Eating before bed mostly is disruptive to sleep. When going into deep sleep, the body wants to drop your core temperature for better rest - if you have recently eaten, your body has to send blood to your stomach to digest the food and that raises your core temp which results in a loss of sleep quality. I don’t think it’s “dangerous” in the short term or if you do it occasionally. Just my two cents

Answer

It will not increase your weight unless the food you’re eating before bed contributes to an overall calorie surplus. For example, if you decide to start eating something before bed, but don’t change the amount you eat during the day, then you are eating more than you normally would. This might cause weight gain.

Answer

It will keep your blood sugar elevated for a much longer time than if you were awake digesting it. Not a HUGE issue if you are not diabetic but increased blood sugar leads to insulin resistance and ultimately can lead to diabetes.
