is eating from 1PM-9PM a good window?

(19F) my mom consistently advises against it and says that I’ll gain weight if I eat after 7pm. Is it better to follow an 11am - 6pm schedule or is 1PM - 9PM okay?

Be aware there is some evidence based science that eating within 2 hours of going to bed can have some negative overall effects.

The specific time related to the clock isn’t the importance, but more so to your specific routine.

I like not eating after dinner, because after dinner eating isn’t necessary, it’s just idle eating. But whatever time you have dinner can be malleable.

Learning to watch TV and just drink water is a lesson everybody can benefit from.
