I have lost 25lbs in less than 2 months doing a 23:1 fast each day. I eat whatever my family eats for dinner including sometimes fast food, pizza and carbs. I recommend starting by cutting out breakfast. And then once that gets easier cut out lunch. I would try clean fasting at first with only water, black coffee, or green tea. Or try 18:6 then move to a 20:4 fasting schedule that may be an easier start than 23:1. I did feel a bit sick some days at first but I also started cold turkey and didn’t work my way up to it. So it took my body a bit to adjust.

Flavored water and gummies you should not take while in fasting mode. The sugar they have (and the sweet flavor) triggers the insulins response of your body. So that’s why you are struggling so much. As per dinner time, eat a sensible plate of food. Whatever it’s at home. Pizza, lasagna, bread. What’s in the plate. That’s it. And, don’t eat snacks or food before going to bed. Once you are down with your dinner that’s it.
