12 hour concerta says you don’t have to eat something when or before taking it.
I take Adderall XR (and still struggling with weight), maybe I’m not the best to answer this but I feel like I literally could not fast successfully if I wasn’t taking it. Even with it I struggle but I’ve never had any adverse effects if that helps.
