More like are you getting the right minerals and nutrients in that one meal?
Typically a good electrolyte has sodium potassium chloride. Most people don’t get enough potassium and it’s a key mineral which helps balance out the salt in your body, help prevent cardiovascular disease and more.
So evaluate if your are getting enough potassium (think legumes) sodium chloride in your food, daily. I mean do an evaluation with all the vitamins and minerals (magnesium is a big big one where people are sorely deficient in ).
If you aren’t fulfilling the RDA, then supplement.
It may depend on your physical activity. I do 30 minutes of intense cardio a day and come out looking like I went for a swim with sweat. I also do Hot Yoga three times a week. If I don’t supplement with electrolytes when on OMAD, my muscles go nuts with cramping. To be fair, they cramped even when I wasn’t doing OMAD, but it seems much worse.
I’ve been doing omad for a month and what I did to stop my cramps on my feet is to eat a lot of veggoes thpse leafy greens. I eat a lot of spinach every day when I was on omad. now my eating pattern ia different. but you don’t really need some, just take some water with salt too. helps a lot.
