Answer

It’s probably smart to be cautious of saturated fats throughout the rest of the day, but that’s just good advice in general. Plenty of people eat eggs every day because they’re cheap and good source of protein and vitamin D, as well as a bit of Iron, Magnesium, and B6. High in cholesterol? Yes, but this article with links to numerous studies as well as many other recent articles seem to agree that eggs either don’t really affect your cholesterol levels much, or can lead to higher levels of cholesterol but that also may be because of eating other high-cholesterol foods as well.

The science seems to be conflicted, but if you’re eating healthy and not having your eggs with a side of bacon and sausage and spam every morning, you’re probably fine.

When I’m not sure how some food might affect me, I test it on myself. You might want to try one week with one or two eggs a day and the next with no eggs at all, and see the difference for yourself. My experience with eggs is that they make me tense and worsen my menstrual cramps, probably due to all the arachidonic acid. But of course not everyone reacts the same to everything.
