High glycemic index carb and no fibre, what could go wrong?

Edit: I confused ribose with other fast absorbing carbs. Ribose doesn’t really spike insulin nor affect negatively the glycemic index. If taken with a fiber supplement, I don’t see why it couldn’t work for most people
