Is it okay if I skip dinner?

I have tried intermittent fasting for 2 months now, I usually just skipped my dinner and tried to maintain a 16 hr fasting period but there’s no significant difference in my weight, what is the most effective and healthy way to do intermittent fasting?

Answer

Skipping dinner is fine. It might even be better for weight loss.

Most of us skip breakfast because it’s just easier. But there’s nothing wrong with skipping dinner if you can or want to.

But the best IF method is whatever you can do as consistently as possible. So, again, nothing wrong with skipping dinner on IF.

Answer

i skip breakfast and dinner and only have lunch, weigh in every morning when i wake up (usually its my lowest weight during the day) n im motivated everytime i see the number drop (slowly!). im considered obese (bmi 30) and so far i feel fine maybe because i have massive fat reserve, so yeah why not?

Answer

You’re doing great, no need for adjustments if you’re feeling good.

If you’re looking for your weight to drop, then now would be the time to take a close look at what you’re consuming in your eating window. CICO within your eating window would be impactful.
