In order to get the potassium required, I want to take 2 teaspoons of no salt per day. Is taking it one teaspoon at a time too much potassium in one sitting?
I have never heard of anything say that it isn’t. However, you should listen to your body, we are all different (the lining of your stomach might be smaller, your intestines might be more sensitive, etc).
For example, I take electrolyte pills instead of snake juice or whatever. For many people, these create a lot of discomfort, reflux and even worse. I have been using them for months, and learned that they are ok for me IF I drink a lot of water beforehand.
I did exactly this the first time I started adding electrolytes - a teaspoon in one sitting. I had mild stomach issues after, and ultimately ended up feeling like crap due to electrolyte depletion a few hours later.
Your body needs a steady amount of electrolytes throughout the day - not all at once.
