Personally I find it hard to eat 2 full meals within 6 hours and if I eat 1 meal + a snack I often get hungry past my feeding window. I tend to do 16:8 or even 17:7 and then throw in some OMAD days when I’m feeling in need of a boost.
I really like an 8 hour eating window because I like my meals 4 hours apart (1 at start, then 4 hours in, then just before close).
But I want more benies. So I do ADF alternate day fasting 40:8. The windows can be anywhere from 36:12 to 47:1 (also called “rolling 48’s). I like an 8 hour feeding window.
