there’s SO much debate on this. some believe it has 2 kcal per gram, some say it has none. I just want the truth!
I use it in my low cal bakes all the time, and I’ve been counting it as 193 calories per 100 grams.. because that’s what the package says. but I have no clue if that’s even accurate, because according to the macros, 193 also isn’t right??
if anyone can help me with this, please do! i’m so confused on this lol
Calorie counts are rarely accurate but even if you measured it for yourself it wouldn’t be the amount you actually take in. Oat fibre it’s really hard to work out as your body doesn’t digest all of it and the gut microbes will digest some of it. So how many calories you actually absorb will vary massively
I’d personally be inclined to overestimate the caloric content rather than underestimate it, if you’re concerned about tracking macros.
The truth is, all calorie counts are subject to variation and change, as it’s dependent on the conditions behind growing the meat/grain.
193 kcal per 100g seems fairly reasonable to me, considering the caloric content of regular oats.
Losing weight was my biggest concern because being “Big” made me feel self-conscious. It took a lot of trial and error before I was finally able to achieve my goal. The key to me finding my success story was me finally discovering this life changing product. I’m now 30 lbs lighter and 1000% happier with my Life. I just wanted to share my story with you guys and if anyone here was like me and struggled to lose weight, im more than happy to share this amazing product with you guys. it wont disappoint :)
