Answer

There are hormones and antibiotics in your meat. There are pesticides on your produce. Not all of these are bad, most are in negligible amounts that will not harm you. You are not going to die from spinach. Just wash your vegetables properly before cooking (as you should be anyway) and you’ll be fine.

Answer

Pesticides are seen as a very negative term when it comes to food. Try growing a bunch of edible delicious vegetables on acreage and see how many bugs/pests come and eat them.

How else are you going to keep them away from your crops? Even organic food uses pesticides; they just have a smaller list of approved pesticides to choose from.
