Are you lean? I think when you don’t have enough fat to fast on, your body will try everything to make you get some food! I’m sure Cole Robinson said he knows when he’s gone to far when he’s lean because it messes up his sleep.

Answer

My theory about the reduction in sleep is that the brain doesn’t need to do as much cleaning at night. After autophagy kicks in hard, there are less waste proteins in the body. Just take in the mindset that you need less sleep while fasting

If you need to heal gut, you could do rolling 24s dry fasts and refeed with clean carnivore for dinner. Raw milk or raw kefir would be great for refeeds, but if you’re not used to consuming them you might get the runs the first few times.

Answer

You can’t fast being in fear or doubtful. That’s not good mindset. You will 100% not be able to sleep if you’re normal bodyweight and dry fasting. If you’re not underweight and/or extremely malnourished - you can def. fast 3days dry. Even 5days, but ONLY with positive mindset.

Edit: You can definitely fast way longer than that, it’s just that you have to be ready for that mentally and spiritually. Also need to increase fasting duration gradually.
