Processed food is processed food, but you could do A LOT worse than a sausage McMuffin. I’m an “everything in moderation” kind of person, so I absolutely believe you could fit that into a diet plan successfully
I wouldn’t consider it super healthy, but honestly I wouldn’t judge food based on if it’s “healthy” or not and see if it fits your goals. All I see is 18g of protein for 300 calories which actually isn’t that bad considering it’s fast food.
It’s just a bun, egg, butter, ham/bacon/sausage and cheese. Ask yourself which one of these you consider unhealthy. And what do we compare it to? Fruits? Different fastfood? Homemade meal? The answer will differ based on this.
From the link you provided, there’s quite high amount of salt but that’s a problem with almost all fast food dishes.
But. Don’t focus on just one dish, it’s pointless. It’s completely fine to eat it once in a while if your diet is otherwise healthy and diverse. If your diet consist of ready to eat meals or junk food, you should reconsider the whole diet and not just one meal.
It is fatty. It is carby. It is processed. Just enough to make you crave it and no more. They add additive to make it more addicting. As cheap as can be to fill the pockets of the owners.
OP is probably part of a team posting some kind of propaganda
You can do worse than a Sausage McMuffin, but no, it obviously isn’t healthy at all. If it’s something you really enjoy, have one from time to time. Just make sure the rest of your diet is healthy enough to fit that in.
